Game Opener

Park a song to open the game and fire it with one tap. Add staff and roster introductions over the top when you want the full pre-game show. This 1:10 walkthrough was recorded on an iPhone with a baseball team, because this part of the app works the same way whatever sport you run. It is a step in the setup path for Baseball, Softball, Football, Basketball, Soccer, Hockey, Lacrosse, Field Hockey, Volleyball, Wrestling, Cheer, Flag Football, Rugby and Cricket. The narration is written out below if you would rather read than watch.

What the video says

The narration, line by line, as it is spoken in the video.

The Game Opener is a place to park one song and fire it when the teams take the field. That's really all it needs to be, and by default that's all it does.

Pick your opening song and it shows up here with a player — artwork, a progress bar, and play and stop. Tap play and it runs on its own, start to finish.

You can set where it starts, the same as anywhere else in the app. Most opening songs have a build worth skipping.

If you want more than a song, turn on Voice Announcements. That layers introductions for your coaching staff and your roster over the top of the music, so you get a full pre-game show instead of just a track.

It's off by default on purpose. Most people want the song and nothing else, and the announcements are there for the nights you want the whole production.

You'll find it on your team screen, under Ceremonies and Effects, next to your anthem and your other pre-game audio.

Set it once at the start of the season and it's ready every week — one tap, and the game starts.
