Local Audio
No Apple Music? Use songs already on your phone or import audio files. Full game day experience without a subscription. This 1:13 walkthrough was recorded on an iPhone with a baseball team, because this part of the app works the same way whatever sport you run. It is a step in every sport's setup path. The narration is written out below if you would rather read than watch.
What the video says
The narration, line by line, as it is spoken in the video.
You don't need an Apple Music subscription to run a game. The song picker reaches your own files too, and it's worth knowing both halves of it.
If you do have Apple Music, search is the fastest way in — find the track, add it, set the start point. The picker defaults to whichever source suits your account, and you can switch with the toggle under the search bar.
Trending and Popular put the songs other teams are already using at the top. That's the quickest way to fill a board when you're staring at an empty one and can't think of anything.
You can pull in a whole playlist at once, so a set you already built somewhere else comes across intact instead of song by song.
On My iPhone lists the music stored on the device itself. These play with no subscription and no signal at all, which matters more than you'd think at a field with bad reception.
And Import from Files brings in anything else — a custom mix, a recorded chant, a sound effect you made yourself.
If your field has patchy service, it's worth keeping a few local files loaded as a backup. They'll play when streaming won't.
